## Chapter I: The Note

2024 New York. Elias Hudson was twenty-seven when he left the Appalachian mountains for the city. He had grown up at St. Mary's monastery, an institution whose history dated to 1680—a refuge for European scholars and physicians fleeing religious persecution.

They had left a complete knowledge system: medicine, philosophy, strategy, combat. Elias was the last generation to receive full training.

When the abbot died, he gave Elias an ancient notebook. It documented a knowledge传承体系 spanning three centuries. The system's core was two people: a man and a woman. They reincarnated continuously, searching for each other across time.

The notebook's last page read: "Find Eileen."

## Chapter II: The Network

Elias came to New York and began researching the notebook's clues. He discovered the传承体系 was real, not myth.

In 1680, a scholar named Elias and a physician named Eileen established the first stronghold in Europe. In 1780, their "descendants" played key roles in the American Revolution—providing medical support, strategic advice, intelligence networks. In 1880, the传承体系 transformed during the Industrial Revolution—physicians established the earliest modern hospitals, scholars influenced political and economic systems.

Each reincarnation, the传承体系 adapted to new eras, but the core mission remained unchanged: protect human knowledge, guide humanity's direction.

In New York, Elias found the modern stronghold of the传承体系—a secret network hidden deep in the financial district. He met Eileen—a forty-something lawyer specializing in human rights and intellectual property cases.

Eileen remembered everything—three centuries of memories, three cycles of reincarnation. She told Elias: "We are not heroes. We are guardians. Our mission is not to change the world, but to ensure the world has the ability to change."

## Chapter III: The Threat

Elias discovered a threat—a multinational corporation was attempting to destroy the core archives of the传承体系. These archives contained three centuries of accumulated knowledge—medical discoveries, philosophical thoughts, strategic wisdom. If the archives were destroyed, humanity would lose a critical part of its intellectual heritage.

Elias and Eileen had to cooperate—he provided fighting and observation skills, she provided legal and network resources. They infiltrated the corporation's server center, attempting to backup the archives before they were deleted.

In the server center, they discovered a shocking fact: the corporation's CTO was a "traitor" of the传承体系—a descendant of someone who betrayed the体系 in 1880. He believed knowledge should belong to everyone, not be guarded by a few. His logic was reasonable—but his methods were illegal.

Elias faced a choice: stop him and protect the archives, or let him delete them and let humanity decide knowledge's ownership.

## Chapter IV: The Release

Elias chose a third path—he didn't stop the CTO from deleting the archives, but he completed backups before the deletion. The backups were anonymously sent to all universities, libraries, and research institutions worldwide.

Knowledge was released. The传承体系 ended—but knowledge endured.

Elias and Eileen stood on a New York rooftop, watching the city lights.

"We're finished," Elias said.

"No," Eileen said. "We've just begun. Knowledge is no longer guarded. Knowledge is shared. That is the传承体系's true meaning."

They left New York. Elias returned to the Appalachians. Eileen continued her legal work.

But they knew one thing: they were not the last guardians. They were the first liberators.

The传承体系 ended. But humanity's story continued.
