The people of the Hive rushed to the surface, weeping with joy as they saw the first real sunlight in three centuries. They saw the first green shoots of grass breaking through the snow.

In the center of the city, the glass chamber was empty. There was no body, no ash, no remains. There was only a small, warm stone that pulsed with a faint, golden light.
