Title: The White Room Delusion

(Act I: The Spark) The facility was called "The Haven," but it was a sterile white void where time was measured in medication doses. Liam was a patient in Ward 4, a man haunted by a guilt he couldn't name. He met Sarah in the common room. Sarah had cerebral palsy, her body a frozen sculpture of tension, her eyes two dark wells of intelligence. To the staff, she was "Patient 88," a passive recipient of care. To Liam, she was the only other person in the building who seemed to be awake.

(Act II: The Undercurrent) They developed a secret language of taps and glances. They began to imagine a world outside the white walls—a place they called the "Green Oasis," where the grass was real and the air didn't smell of bleach. Their love was a shared delusion, a fragile bridge built over a chasm of psychiatric labels. Liam became convinced that Sarah was the key to his own recovery, that her purity was the only thing that could cleanse his stained soul. He began to believe that they were the only two "real" people in a world of ghosts.

(Act III: The Outburst) The delusion peaked when Liam decided they had to escape. He spent weeks mapping the guards' rotations, whispering plans of a midnight flight to the coast. But the "Oasis" was a mirror, and Liam's mind was cracked. The "escape" was a violent episode; Liam attempted to break Sarah out of her room, but in his manic state, he accidentally caused her a severe injury. The staff intervened, and the truth was revealed: there was no plan, no map, and no one coming to save them. Liam's "love" was just another symptom of his psychosis, a predatory projection of his own needs onto a woman who had no way to say no.

(Act IV: The Echo) Liam was moved to a high-security wing, his privileges revoked. Sarah remained in the ward, her body now even more broken, her eyes no longer searching for Liam. She looked at the white walls and realized that the most terrifying thing wasn't the facility or the medication, but the way people could wrap their own madness in the language of love. She closed her eyes and tried to imagine a world without "Oases," a world where she could simply be alone in the silence.
