She stood at her window on the fifteenth floor, watching the delivery scooters carve their daily routes through the waking neighborhood. Each rider knew this city in their body the way a dancer knows the steps to a familiar song.

Her phone buzzed. A message from someone she hadn't expected to hear from in months. The words were simple, but the timing felt like the city itself had arranged the encounter.

She typed a reply, deleted it, typed it again. The screen lit up her face in the half-dark. Outside, the first bus of the day hissed to a stop two streets over.

蛰伏 had taught her that the small moments - the message, the bus, the way light falls through a particular window at 7 AM - these were the real architecture of a life.
